    5. He said: "it(the watermark) should have been placed at the bottom so that it'll be easier to crop"

  3. Are we ever going to get a retconned Sazabi with psychoframe on it too? After all it first had it. How about Sianju, when it fought Unicorn in the 2nd episode, psychoframe was glowing in the chest area.

    1. Ever since Char's Counterattack, psycoframe suits always had psycoframe, but only around the cockpit. That's why suits like the Sinanju and Shamblo glow only around the cockpit.

Full psycoframe was exclusive to the Unicorn until Katoki's Nu.

    2. Nu does not have full psychoframe. There is a recent interview with Katoki where he explains that this Nu is a combination of things.
Its based on the Nu gundam Evolve and the green parts on the kit represent the psychoframe energy flowing through the suit after Amuro starts the Axis shock.
Full psychoframe requires the suit to have load bearing structures made of psychoframe material. For example, try building Mg unicorn without using the clear parts (you cant).
With this gundam the inner frame is already complete, it just has a few clear parts added on top.

    3. what is with these people getting all worked up with the Nu gundam's unicorn esque psychoframe? so what, would you rather have the Nu gundam with a floating T revolving around it?.. katoki just incorporated the Psychoframe inside the MS it is his take on the Nu gundam is it not? hence Ver the Ka. jesus christ

    4. You have to understand why some people are upset. It's one thing for new kits to add more details like panel line or the minor designs like the leg verniers in the MS-06 Zaku to distinguish the F/J/S variants.

Everything in UC is based on "real time" technology development. Psycommu(0079) => Bio-senser(0087) Psychoframe(0093) => Full Psychoframe(0096). MS are man-made machine. They are not sentient super robots like Transformers. They don't just "change". Look at Takara's MP Transformers. It's a complete redesign of old G1 toys, but it's faithful to the original. MP Starscream is still an old F-15 fighter jet. They didn't make him transform into a F-22 just because the new Starscream is a F-22 in the live action movie.

    5. Damn straight! Everyone here is a circle jerk suck up to the psyco-frame. We get it Gundam Unicorn was awesome because of the full psyco-frame transformation, but this is just milking it too damn much.

When they start putting pysco-frames on everything, the unique-ness dies. That's like "When everyone's a superhero... NO ONE'S a superhero."

Plus it's not entirely canonical anymore.

    6. it was never established that this Nu Gundam's psycho-frame is a full psycho-frame at all. it isn't since it could not handle it and it made Amuro and the Nu MIA (0093). making it a not full psycho frame MS which in turn makes the unicorn's Psycho-frame (0096) full and reatains the title of sole MS with a full Psycho-frame and still qualifies this as part of this so called real time tech development..

another proof of this is the inner frame of the (Nu ver Ka) kit just compare it to the unicorn's inner frame, (Nu) this is not a Full Psychoframe.

just because katoki incorporated the Floating T inside the frame doesn't mean the MS became an organism that evolves.. it is just that if he was asked to design the Nu in his way (VERSION KATOKI) this how he would've done it.

these guys are too nit-picky if bothers you then don't buy it
and i don't give a shit about TF it's crap. was the old series as a child and never bothered with it ever again.

    7. This isn't a full psychoframe, it never was. It's meant to represent the "burst" effect of the psychoframe from the end of CCA, where the green particles began flowing out of the suit. It's just showing how the suit opens up so the particles can flow out, so stop whining about it's non-canonical and unfaithful and shit, holy hell.

    8. I can see it now. Every NT-use MS that ever "glowed" will get a Ver. Ka. redesign with "glowing effects"

      Zeta Gundam Ver.Ka. It glows!
      Psycho Gundam Ver.Ka. It glows!!
      Qubeley Ver. Ka. It glows!!!
The O Ver. Ka. It glows!!!!

It's all so bright and colourful! Just Like Batman & Robin!

    9. Frankly I think all the discussion about the appropriateness of adding the psychoframe bits is really interesting. I for one appreciate the debate.

    1. Agreed. That's why it's always in a tie with Zeta Gundam for first place in my top ten list of best Gundam designs.

    2. Agree +2 tie with Freedom in my list ( Sazabi > GP02A > Freedom = Nu ) XD

      Delete
    3. i second this. nu and zeta (and f91) have always been my faves. very welcome to have this new kit around.

    4. iirc, nu was an unfinished product when amuro first took it out. if true, just imagine how cool for him to he to be kicking everyone's rear with something like that. even axis didnt stand a chance. lol.

  5. well that looks epic. cant wait to get my hands on this mg.

  6. What worries me about this new Psychoframe gimmick is that I'm worried it will make this kit a brick like the MG Unicorn Gundams. e Nu isn't ridiculously bulky like the EX-S Gundam. It shouldn't be a brick like that kit either.

    1. inner frame was already showed before i think. it was made of solid inner frame. like someone said before the clear pieces might just be placed on top so its possible its just a matter of exposing them unlike with unicorn where clear parts are the structure.

  7. Aaaaarghhh!!!!! Small hands.
Damn! I like to print it and put it to my wall but the watermark.

  8. Forget the debate about the addition of psychoframe in the body.

I see something more ridiculous now. How can there be clouds in the background??? nu Gundam never appeared on earth. The whole "Char's Rebellion" happened in SPACE!

    1. Because it's ver.ka, this is katoki's version of nu landing on earth. But seriously, isn't it that there are clouds inside the colony?

    2. It did raise my eyebrows a bit but the image was so well done it didn't bother me at all.

  9. Maybe Mr. KA decide to gear up old school into new school Nu and to make Unicorn more fit to the Universal Century, why the Unicorn have Full pyschoframe around Gundam and Unicorn must be 1 of the successor of New Nu K.A. The old school didn't think that far and now with more advance tech and design, they can make Gundam look more bad ass more.

  10. So much debates, but how many of you have actually owned/completed building one? LOL

  11. pointless debating. if you don't like it, shut your mouth. I already build this kit, and what can I say about this kit: this kit is AWESOME

  12. Everyone's having a debate abaout Nu's psychoframe,
And I'm just sitting here, masturbating.

  13. Somehow, I'm enjoying this debate. I'm learning more about Nu.

  14. What's up err body!
I thought this might be a good place to post a general concern I have had in a while. For many out there the UC timeline has had appeal due to its real sci fi feel. Things are based on concepts that can generally be explained with current or reasonable extrapolation of technological development. However I feel that it's time that the story writers take a close look at the technology in the time line and consider a revamp. The UC timeline spans almost a 100 years now and minofsky particles are constantly a factor that seams to not "advance". There is no "counter tech" so to speak. Even in today's world hardly anything stays unchallenged for more than a decade. What about the incorporation of modern super polymers and nano reinforced materials. We are still using gundarium alloy over all these years. Psycho frame could be a gateway to introduce dark energy concepts to the tech. Or what about the Internet. There is NO such mention in UC and that automatically makes it irelavant as sci fi. Any thoughts on this??

    1. why? because it is still fiction.

      Delete
  15. True it is still fiction but Tomino started the UC timeline but generally extrapolating technological development of 1970s to lay the down the frameworks of the UC timeline except for minofsky particleas. Space colonies, wave riders, beam weaponry and so on are all based on plausible tech. It's just one if the appeals of the UC timeline.
