    2. oh yeah, that seems to be true to pretty much all Gundam protagonist. Just because Kira was putted in situations more dire than any of the other protagonist, who has plot armor to prevent event a slightest situation that may cause them to die (instead if they so choose), and come out alive doesn't mean he is something like "Jesus" or immortal. Seriously, look a 00, Setsuna's immortality is just bullshit, Quanta was noted to have as much power to hold back the ESF by itself, considering the ESF regenerating and attacking potential, Quanta must be pretty much an invincible machine.

Not denying Destiny, it's just straight out horrible writing but Seed...pretty much all the arguments direct at one issue, "bad animation" including reusing battle scenes and making Kira looked too close to dying yet does not actually kill him, period

    3. GS = GDS = same piece of shit. A copy of MSG, Victory, Wing, Zeta... boyband and Jesus Yamato!!! Remember, this "A.U." comes before 00 and AGE.

And that Qanta... doesnt look too invincible (like WZC or Sfreedom). In the movie, the Setsunator looks very overwhelmed by the alien force. I mean, doesnt feel like mr Perfect (or Lacus Palpatine).

      (must... improve... my english)

    4. Eh tell me one Gundam series that DOES NOT borrow from earlier series aside from G-Gundam and Turn-A (even then they have some similar formulas in plot). Theres no such thing as a "copy" or "ripoff" in Gundam, they all trace back to, and have homages for, all the previous series, not to mention its all done by the same people, and if they did something "new" all anyone does is complain, and if they do homages people slam it for being unoriginal, hypocrisy much? Gundam have a overall bad fanbase IMO (not saying everyone is bad, but overall rather negative)

The first SEED is not bad really, Destiny was terrible... asides from the character desings (I preferred the older looks) and the mech designs (and by that I mean how they looked)

@Anon 12:20: Your english is not that bad actually ^^

  3. Altough i'm not a fanboy of any gundam series i do want to make a point that i've noticed. I do think that a lot of the reasons why people call kira 'jesus/ invincible' is because the said people haven't delved much into the seed lore if you may. The main reason he is shown to be that amazing is the innate seed factor ability plus coordinator abilities (increased perception/ iq / response time), not to mention kira was designed with the ultimate genes (though its not mentioned if they are genes for learning capacity/ goodlooks etc lol). As you can probably see, athrun too has the said abilites and when he activates it, he is near jesus too, but if you watch closely there are different seed explosions between the characters. Shins being triggered by anger, so his is not as powerful compared to kira's which he can instate at will due to his mastering of the ability as such. Also the lore mentions that even normal humans like cagalli can trigger their seed factor, therefore this further proves that kira isn't at all special. Its more like he is one of a kind in that he has mastered his enhanced seed ability.

So calling him jesus seems kinda retarded, because it means you've not really understood the show.

    1. lolwut? It's not the fucking seed ability everyone's referring to. Every major character has that here. We call him Jesus because he survives a gundam latching on to him and self-destructing POINT-BLANK and WITH HIS COCKPIT OPEN, not to mention he later survived having his gundam incinerated by a giant space cannon of death (and he suffered no major injuries from either). He just doesn't die, surviving situations that should kill off (or at least severely maim) anyone, genetically enhanced or not.
